— Today, the Rapid City Police Department partnered with Cody Two Bulls, a recent high school graduate from Mahpiya Luta High School, for a school supply drive that will go to student in Rapid City but primarily to the Pine Ridge Reservation.
Some people, including one Rapid City Resident, were unaware of the drive but bought supplies anyways to help those who cant afford it.
ADVERTISEMENT"I work with teenagers and I can't even imagine what it would be like to show up to school and not feel like you have the proper school supplies," said resident Sam Kirschenmann.
As a young person who might not have had school supplies, like to stand up and stick up for other people I think it amazing."
