For Ms. Parkinson, the project is deeply personal. “For audition preparation and what has helped me book television and film work, I took the lead there. Ms. Parkinson believes the biggest challenge she faced was not being from Kesh, but not having access to reliable information. Before becoming a full-time content creator alongside her acting work, Ms. Parkinson worked in a variety of jobs including waitressing and reception work. “It took me more than 10 years to get to the point where I’m auditioning regularly and booking television and film work,” she said.
