Dean Kremer gave up one run in five innings during his Twins debut. The Twins offense drew the blame, totaling two hits and one run in eight innings against Royals lefthander Noah Cameron, a pitcher who flummoxed the Twins all year. In the seventh inning, Minter started Michael Massey with a 2-0 count before he left a cutter over the middle of the plate. Kremer handled his Twins debut well, his first time working with catcher Ryan Jeffers. Hoffman made his Twins debut in the eighth inning, striking out two of the three batters he faced.
