Sen. Ashley Moody met with Vice President JD Vance on Wednesday to discuss ongoing federal anti-fraud initiatives and potential legislative reforms during a meeting of the White House Task Force to Eliminate Fraud. The discussion centered on tracking federal progress against fraud and identifying legislative measures designed to safeguard public funds. Moody, who was appointed to the U.S. Senate last year, has introduced or cosponsored more than a dozen anti-fraud bills during her tenure. In healthcare, she introduced the Punishing Health Care Fraudsters Act to raise financial and criminal penalties for healthcare fraud. In addition to her own bills, Moody joined the Senate Anti-Fraud Task Force to oversee federal spending and identify systemic vulnerabilities.
