The works will take place in Shotton from Shotton Lane to the junction with Brook Road near, Wepre Brook Bridge, starting on August 24 and lasting for four weeks. Flintshire Council said parking on the closed sections of road will not be possible during the working hours. Vehicle access will be managed by principal contractor Alun Griffiths Ltd. The council said there may be short periods when vehicle access to homes or businesses is not possible due to asphalt laying and cooling times. The road resurfacing forms part of the major works in Shotton which have been ongoing since February.
