Nicholas Williams, 39, of Ceiriog Road, Wrexham, appeared before Mold Crown Court for sentencing after pleading guilty to dangerous driving and assault by beating. Recorder J Philpotts said Miss Hyde had driven to confront Williams. Although Williams had been subject to bail conditions preventing him from contacting her, the judge noted that Miss Hyde had travelled to find him that day. The court heard Williams drove his vehicle towards Miss Hyde, causing her to move out of the way, before driving towards her again. Recorder Philpotts said Miss Hyde suffered injuries to her legs and feet, which were shown in photographs before the court.
