Varanasi: A 35-year-old cancer patient allegedly died by suicide after jumping from the fourth floor of Mahamana Madan Mohan Malaviya Cancer Institute in Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi during the early hours of Tuesday, police said. According to reports, on Tuesday morning around 12:50 AM, the patient allegedly went to the fourth floor of IPD Ward No. The noise of the fall sparked panic among hospital staff and security. The incident led to considerable disruption across the hospital premises. Additionally, CCTV camera footage installed in the hospital premises is also being scrutinised to confirm the cause of the incident.”
