Hyderabad: The women safety wing (WSW) and the Attapur police took custody of trainee IPS officer M. Uday Krishna Reddy for questioning in connection with an alleged sexual assault case registered by a fellow trainee officer. After the police officials displayed strong evidence, Krishna Reddy reportedly broke out and confessed to the crime. Krishna Reddy was remanded to judicial custody for 14 days on July 29 and has since been lodged in Chanchalguda Central Prison. had on Wednesday granted the police custody of Krishna Reddy. A woman trainee at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA) met DGP C.V. Anand and lodged a complaint against Krishna Reddy on July 18.
