Mr Wazed made this statement during the media interaction on Wednesday.
Under order from the Bangladesh government, Ms Hasina’s interaction in New Delhi, that was telecast live on social media, was completely blanked by the media houses in her own country.
Ms Hasina, currently in exile in India, said she would return to Dhaka in December even if she is assassinated or arrested.
Mr Hasan, a former Awami League member of parliament, had participated in Ms Hasina media interaction virtually from outside his country.
Regrettably, Bangladesh’s repeated requests to the Government of India for returning convicted criminal Hasina to Bangladesh under the Extradition Treaty signed between Bangladesh and India in 2013, has not yet elicited a response.
