The estate of the late singer and actress Whitney Houston is auctioning off some of her most famous and cherished industry memorabilia. The auction will feature iconic stage-worn fashion, her personal accessories, and awards. Houston died on 11 February 2012, at 48, when she was found unresponsive in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, California. Proceeds from the sale will support The Whitney E. Houston Legacy Foundation‘s programming, scholarships, and community initiatives. Julian’s Auction will conduct the auction on 11 August.
