Afterward, rival and antagonist MJF made a surprise return, laying out El Idolo and making a plan to wrestle in a qualifier on next week’s Dynamite from Las Vegas to earn the second spot in the Gauntlet bout. With the win, El Idolo guarantees himself a chance at winning the match and earning a future World title shot.
