The man from Oxford was riding a bike on Donnington Bridge when he was killed in a crash with a Volkswagen Golf on Tuesday night (August 4).
Mr Loader said: "Cyclox is saddened to hear the terrible news of the killing of a man cycling on Iffley Road.
"This junction, like other Oxford junctions, fails to provide for safe movements by people cycling.
Robin Tucker, co-chair of the Coalition for Healthy Streets and Active Travel (CoHSAT): "I'm deeply saddened to hear of the man killed by a suspected dangerous driver.
"While routes like this have been made safer with lower speed limits, better cycle lanes and fewer hazards, the junctions are often still poor for safety, notably Donnington Bridge Road junction.
