Update after robber threatened Tesco staff with 'box-cutter knife'

The incident took place at the Tesco Express in Bowmont Square, Bicester, at around 10.27pm on Friday, July 31. A man entered the store and threatened staff with a box-cutter knife before demanding access to the tills, taking cash from two tills, and fleeing the scene. Tesco has since said the safety of its staff and customers remains its top priority and it is assisting Thames Valley Police with its enquiries. The force is now appealing for witnesses of the suspect, described as a white man with pale skin, a scruffy black beard, and approximately 5ft 9ins tall.
