— Elizabeth Jo used to walk the grounds of the Sioux Empire Fair dreaming about performing on its main stage.
But long before Nashville, Jo grew up on her family's cattle farm between Lesterville and Tabor, where country music became part of everyday life.
The Bon Homme County native has built an independent country music career in Nashville while staying connected to her South Dakota roots.
