(Bloomberg) -- Jeff Bezos unloaded almost $350 million in Amazon.com Inc. stock as it hit a record on Monday, his first sale of the company's shares this year. Bezos' wealth has climbed $38.7 billion this year to $292 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, as the e-commerce retailer's shares have gained 18%. Even after the sale, he remains Amazon's largest shareholder by far with an 8.16% stake. Over the course of nine trading days in 2024 he sold more than $8.5 billion in stock. Since the beginning of 2025, he's also contributed Amazon shares currently worth more than $1 billion to nonprofit organizations, according to filings.
