SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Wednesday ordered changes in the postings of Chief Education Officers in Jammu and Udhampur, while placing Principal Sunil Kumar Khajuria as In-charge Chief Education Officer. 308-JK (Edu) of 2026, dated August 5, Khajuria, Principal of Higher Secondary School Pallanwalla, Jammu, has been placed as In-charge Chief Education Officer and Equivalent in his own pay and grade with immediate effect. Following his placement, Khajuria has been posted as Chief Education Officer, Udhampur. Consequently, Subash Chander Gupta, who was serving as In-charge Chief Education Officer, Udhampur, has been transferred and posted as Chief Education Officer, Jammu. The officer has been directed to join his new place of posting within 10 days of the issuance of the order.
