Residents press Upper Darby council to reject rezoning of Mozino TractDREXEL HILL, Pa. (WPVI) -- Residents hoping to preserve the Mozino Tract urged Upper Darby Township council members this week to vote against a proposal that would rezone the 15-acre forest for mixed-use development. "It's one of the last forests in Upper Darby Township," said Lee Jordan of Drexel Hill. Members of Save The Mozino Forest argued the proposal would harm the community. Upper Darby Council Vice President Noah Fields said leaders are still evaluating the proposal. Residents say they plan to continue meeting with local leaders as they work to preserve the Mozino Tract.
