A fifth suspect wanted in connection with a double shooting in North Lauderdale back in May that left one man dead and another injured has surrendered, authorities said.
Matthew Holloway surrendered himself to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office in Monticello, Florida, on Aug. 2, Broward Sheriff's Office officials said Wednesday.
Deputies had responded and found 19-year-old O’Mari Doe inside a 2020 Ford Mustang suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, and 20-year-old Maurice Vorroto outside the vehicle suffering from a single gunshot wound.
Investigators later identified Holloway as the fifth suspect involved in the shooting, authorities said.
Holloway was expected to be extradited to Broward to face first-degree murder and attempted murder charges in the shooting.
