Dillon Brooks is locked in for another three seasons with the Phoenix Suns after averaging a career-high 20.2 points per game in his first year with the team. Brooks and the Suns have agreed to an three-year, $73 million contract extension, ESPN's Shams Charania reported on Wednesday. The Suns are hard-capped at the second apron for the upcoming season but are still $4.8 million under that cap. Brooks then suffered a fractured left hand in a game against the Orlando Magic on Feb. 21. Although Brooks returned for the end of the regular season, Phoenix went 12-13 down the stretch to fall into the Play-In Tournament.
