Kazakhstan appoints honorary consul in North Macedonia’s Ohrid

Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to North Macedonia Satybaldy Burshakov held a meeting with Ohrid Mayor Kiril Pecakov, during which the newly appointed Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan in Ohrid was presented and received his consular patent.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, during the meeting, Burshakov introduced Giorgi Vojnovik as Kazakhstan’s new Honorary Consul in Ohrid and officially handed him the consular document.
Pecakov presented information about the municipality’s activities, the region’s economic and tourism potential, as well as cultural events held in Ohrid.
The sides expressed confidence that the launch of the Honorary Consul’s activities in Ohrid will contribute to strengthening bilateral cooperation, expanding business contacts, promoting cultural exchanges and developing tourism links between Kazakhstan and North Macedonia.
Ohrid is one of North Macedonia’s major tourism and cultural centers.
