Spider-Man 2 is widely regarded as the definitive Spider-Man movie, at least in live-action, so this is some achievement. Spider-Man 2, for more than two decades now, has been considered the best live-action experience Spider-Man has to offer. The top positions are hogged by the two Spider-Verse movies: Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023). I think that’s only fair, because Sony’s animated movies are regarded as two of the best superhero movies ever made.
