DeepFabric, a Dallas-based supply chain AI agent platform, announced a strategic partnership Aug. 5, under which Kenco, a North American 3PL with a pharmaceuticals and lifesciences branch, has deployed the company's first six AI agents into live production.
Kenco's approach distinguishes between two complementary categories of AI investment, according to the companies: agentic AI, which completes tasks within defined guardrails, and generative AI, which creates content and surfaces insights.
The deal adds to a broader shift of 4IR technologies, agentic AI, automation and predictive analytics , moving from pilot programs into core 3PL operations rather than isolated proofs of concept.
