The town of Zebulon has launched a search for a new economic development director, a position town leaders say will help guide the community's next phase of commercial growth. Town Manager Catherine Crosby said the position reflects the town's focus on economic development as residential growth continues. "Economic development is a priority for Zebulon, especially as our population continues to grow," Crosby said. The economic development director will report to the town manager and oversee a two-person department. Town officials said they are seeking candidates with experience in economic development, business recruitment and retention, commercial real estate, downtown revitalization or community development.
