Though content with the current group, particularly regarding their interior presence, the Slovenian strategist left the door open for future acquisitions, noting that the Catalan powerhouse remains active in the market to maximize its competitive edge. “The team will need more time than usual for obvious reasons, but I think we have talent and we need to work on it to make them play the way we want,” noted the 48-year-old tactician at his presentation. “As always, we are exploring the market and will see if we can find a solution that fits the team,” he added, citing the need for potential reinforcements, including at the power forward position if Shengelia eventually leaves the team. “If it makes sense, we will do it, but right now I think we have a competitive roster.”
