Ishaq Dar urges muslim nations to protect Jerusalem holy sites

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar made the statement during a ministerial meeting on Jerusalem held in Amman, Jordan.
The meeting was organized by the Jordanian government as concerns increased over developments at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, one of the most important religious sites for Muslims.
Speaking at the meeting, Dar said Israel does not have authority over occupied East Jerusalem or its Islamic and Christian holy places.
Dar also expressed Pakistan’s support for Jordan’s role as the custodian of the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.
