BISHKEK, Aug 5 (Kabar/APP):Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Ulan Mamatkanov received the Japanese government’s JDS project scholars, state and municipal employees of Kyrgyzstan who are going to study in Japan. I am confident that today’s JDS program finalists will be representatives of a new generation that will implement this state policy, the development directions of our country and confidence in its future. Recently, Kyrgyzstan and Japan signed another important agreement on the continuation of the JDS program, and a grant in the amount of 381 million yen was allocated for this purpose. As is known, this year, 20 scholarship holders from state and municipal employees of Kyrgyzstan are going to study in Japan for 19 master’s degrees and 1 doctoral degree. In total, through this program, which has been implemented since 2006, more than 300 state and municipal employees have had the opportunity to study in Japan.
