Qatar Airways Privilege Club, which uses Avios as its reward currency and which lets you move Avios to and from a British Airways Club account, is launching monthly Avios flight deals. The Avios discount will usually be 25% so it is not insignificant – and remember that Avios flights on Qatar Airways are usually far cheaper than those booked on British Airways. Whilst you can book standard Qatar Airways seats with Avios via The British Airways Club, you cannot book these discounted seats at ba.com. You need to use ‘Move Avios’ to link your British Airways and Qatar Airways accounts, as we explain here.
