Carparison has appointed David Bates to the newly created role of head of procurement as the car leasing broker strengthens its relationships with OEMs, leasing firms and car dealers. Bates joins with significant experience across the automotive and leasing sector, including a senior tenure at Leasys, where he built a reputation across the industry for commercial judgement and relationship building. In his new role, Bates will lead procurement strategy, manage and develop key funder, manufacturer and dealer relationships, and represent Carparison at industry events alongside the senior leadership team. Bates commented: “With nearly 25 years of experience in the motor trade, I’m excited to bring a wealth of knowledge to Carparison.
