There is a push every now and then to legalize the sale of wild venison — deer in particular is what we’re talking about in this episode. And we are experiencing a backlash from deer hunters who do not like this idea of the sale of wild venison. So I think deer hunters are kind of wrestling with that — hunting heritage, how they grew up, how they were taught to manage the resource. Why would you want a wild deer when we’ve bred this deer for consumption purposes? And you can sell wild venison throughout hunting season specifically — and I believe it’s 20 days past hunting season.
