National Night Out is a community event designed to bring neighborhoods together, provide events for the whole family, and help establish closer relationships with law enforcement. Kennewick Reschedules National Night Out Due to Smoke, Air Quality IssuesRichland has already rescheduled theirs for August 20th. at Howard Amon Park, now Kennewick has moved theirs to the same date, at the Southridge Sports Complex. The City thanked a number of supporters, including Tsunami Catering, Kennewick Police Department Foundation, Kennewick Union Firefighters, Local 1296 and RAZR Restoration, for makikng it possible. It is believed this is the first time in many years, if ever, that Kennewick or other communities have had to cancel this major event.
