BELGRADE – Michael C. Harrington, Sr., 73, passed away on August 3, 2026, following a brief illness. He was born on Jan. 23, 1953, in Dover-Foxcroft, the son of Clayton Harrington and Janice (Burton) Harrington McAllister. Known to many simply as “Sr.,” Michael dedicated his life to serving others through an extraordinary career that spanned more than 50 years in law enforcement, investigations, and security. Beyond his career, Michael was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, mentor, and friend. Michael is survived by his beloved wife, Holly Harrington; his four children, Janiece Hanning, Michael Harrington, Jr. and his wife Tracy, Cassandra Proctor, and Lily McFadden; his granddaughter, Raegan Harrington; and his two brothers, Steven Harrington and Brad McAllister.
