The following weekend then opens the curb-stomping to everyone, with a free Open Beta free to all players. What upset players was The Coalition's decision to limit the first, 'paid' Early Access weekend to Horde Siege, the new 12-player co-op survival mode, whilst saving Versus PvP for the second, free Beta weekend alongside the existing PvE offering. PvP Versus is coming to this weekend's early access period for the Open Beta. Funnily enough, observant players managed to get even earlier access to Gears of War: E-Day's Versus mode last night. We wouldn't be surprised if some of that carries over when the Early Access Multiplayer Beta kicks off tomorrow.
