Taylor Fresh Foods (dba Taylor Farms) filed a federal lawsuit in June 2026 accusing Brian Thure, ex-president of subsidiary Taylor Farms Tennessee, of fraud, court documents show. Brian Thure served as president of Taylor Farms Tennessee from around 2012 to March 2026. Brian Thure, according to the lawsuit, placed his wife on Taylor Farms' payroll in 2013 without company authorization, and concealed that he had done so by removing her name from documents that would be seen by Taylor Farms. MTS is, according to the lawsuit, a sham business that the couple created to funnel the money they are accused of stealing from Taylor Farms. Brian Thure, according to the complaint, confessed to and apologized for fraudulent activity in a phone call to Taylor Farms’ CEO around early April 2026.
