Newport Police have identified a second suspect in the July 19 double shooting near Park Holm and have obtained an arrest warrant for him, the department announced Wednesday. Nasydi Brown, 18, was located at the same Chestnut Avenue residence in Newport News, Va., where members of the U.S. Marshals Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Tyquan Johnson, 19, on July 29. Through the course of the investigation, detectives identified Brown as the second suspect in the Newport shooting, police said. Newport Police identified Johnson as a suspect and released images of a second individual on July 23, warning that Johnson was considered armed and dangerous.
