The Coe Street Co-Op will headline the next installment of NIMFest 2026 on Sunday, Aug. 9, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the King Park Gazebo, 125 Wellington Ave. A graduate of Berklee College of Music and the Brown Arts Institute, Rhodes writes genre-blending songs and counts Andy Shauf, Kurt Vile, Ween and Tyler Childers among her influences. NIMFest — short for Newport Independent Music Festival — is presented by the New England Music Organization, a nonprofit supporting musicians across the region. King Park is accessible by paddlecraft for kayakers and paddleboarders. Two shows remain after Sunday: Soul City on Aug. 16 and Groove Merchants with Olivia Nied on Aug. 23.
