Sounders reportedly targeting Senegalese forward

A second potential summer transfer target has emerged for the Seattle Sounders: Senegalese striker Philippe Kény, according to a report from Niko Moreno on the latest episode of Nos Audietis.
Although not a big name by any stretch, he does have some nice size and is known mostly for his direct play.
Rangers and Wrexham have both supposedly been monitoring him, which suggests there could be competition.
Similar to Casper Tengstedt, it’s unclear if the Sounders could bring him in without using a Designated Player spot.
Kény’s salary would likely have to be at least $1 million, which doesn’t leave a ton of room for a transfer fee.
