After declining his $27.7MM player option to give the Warriors a chance to land LeBron James, which ultimately did not come to fruition, Draymond Green recently signed a one-year deal worth the same amount. In the latest episode of his podcast, Green spoke about that decision, explaining his mindset in negotiations with the team. “I think if the Warriors want to trade me at some point in the season, they want to trade me. Only one player will have an official no-trade clause entering the 2026/27 season: Damian Lillard, who negotiated one into his deal last summer.
