21 ranked Tigers controlled possession and beat MSU 2-0 in the Bulldogs’ first exhibition game in Starkville. The Bulldogs’ second grouping, featuring senior keeper Sarah Wommack, allowed the two Memphis goals. A Memphis cross ricocheted off MSU fifth year defender Ashley Tutas for an own goal making it 2-0. MSU’s first grouping kept Memphis off the score board, but relied on senior keeper Jenny Harrison to keep the Tigers scorless. MSU has one more exhibition on Saturday against Southeastern Louisiana before games start to count.
