But beneath all of those factors, is it really that far removed from anything the band has done before? Times have changed, the band have changed, and for some reason, an audience can’t do the same. What’s more, Casablancas’ vocals remain untreated throughout the song, meaning that those who can’t stand his robotic tone are left with little to complain about with his more organic voice.
