One of the year's most gorgeous movies is an obituary to dying glaciers
['Brian Price']
News – NBC New York
Icelandic author Andri Snær Magnason posed that questioned years ago as his family came face-to-face with the unthinkable: the demise of a 15-square-mile glacier.
Okjökull — the glacier's name — was officially declared dead in 2014.
Dosa's newest documentary "Time and Water" (now streaming on Disney+ and Hulu) molds Magnason's decades of archival footage to tell the story of Iceland's glaciers.
"That was super exciting to us to see how they saw glaciers as expansive and as eternal."
Any form of grief can feel so heavy, paralyzing, unfathomably complicated.
