Police slam 155mph Cornish biker as ‘completely irresponsible’

Devon and Cornwall Police’s Road Safety Team said the rider was recorded at more than double the 70mph limit on the A30 at Bodmin in May.
Officers shared an image of the bike as they confirmed the motorcyclist is due before magistrates at a forthcoming hearing.
At 155mph, they said, a motorcycle is covering the length of a football pitch roughly every 1.5 seconds.
The Road Safety Team also compared the energy involved in a potential crash at 155mph to dropping a family car from a 20-storey building.
"All that energy would be instantly absorbed by the rider, their bike and whatever they crashed into," the post said.
