The section of the A4103 has been closed to allow essential drainage works linked to a new housing development. A Worcestershire County Council spokesperson said: "The A4103 closure is required to allow a deep sewer connection to be installed on behalf of a housing developer. These are not Worcestershire County Council works; our role is to coordinate activity on the highway network to help minimise overall disruption wherever possible. A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: "We have some positive news regarding the A4103 at Leigh Sinton. The closure, in Leigh Sinton, has forced Worcestershire County Council to put a major diversion route in place, covering around 35 miles through Cradley, Bromyard, Broadwas, and Rushwick.
