Former England captain Nasser Hussain never had any luck at the Cricket World Cup - but his brother Mel fancies his chances of bragging rights summer. Nasser played in two World Cups - in 1999 and then, as captain, in 2003 - but England exited after the group stage on both occasions. Older sibling Mel, 62, has already surpassed that in a sense, having reached the final of the Over-60s Cricket World Cup with England two years ago. They were beaten finalists in the last World Cup in 2024, losing to hosts Australia, and vice-captain Hussain is predicting his side will reach the final once more. "I still believe the final will be England v Australia."
