Aug. 5— Chateau Speedway will be hosting Midwest Repairables Night this Friday featuring an evening of dirt track racing, community generosity and family fun. In addition to a full night of racing action, fans can help celebrate a community-wide effort to ensure local children head back to school prepared. Thanks to the generosity of local businesses, race teams, families and fans, 81 backpacks and 10 gift cards have already been donated for Chateau Speedway's Backpack Giveaway. "We're incredibly thankful for every business, race team, family, and fan who has stepped up to support this giveaway," said Chateau Speedway officials in a press release issued Wednesday.
