Grosse Tete, LA - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, husband, and brother, Larry Luke Lemoine, who departed this life on August 5, 2026, at his home in Grosse Tete LA at the age of 85. Larry is survived by his wife of 7-½ years, Barbara "Jeanie" David; his daughters, Elizabeth Michelle "Missy" Lemoine, Dana Ann Lemoine Nelson (Kevin), Lauren Shelby Lemoine, and Shanyn Claire Nelson; grandchildren, Jonathan "Johnny" Guillory, Farah Raye Nelson (Corey Louis), Sean Luke Nelson, Zachary Michael Dorsey, and Harley Dale Gaudet; great-grandchildren, Shanyn Claire Nelson, Jonathan Lane Nelson, Hayden James Agnew, Clayton Luke Nelson, Jesse Luke Nelson, Jace Joseph Nelson, and Tyler Guillory; and great-great-grandchild Bennett Guillory. Larry is also survived by his sisters, Josephine "Josie" Lemoine Meche (Glen), Jane "Janie" Lemoine Raggio (Stephen), and his brother, James Rodney Lemoine (Carolyn). Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Mattie Gueho Lemoine and Luke Lemoine; his wife of 53 years, Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Davenport Lemoine; his brother, Raymond Andrew Lemoine; and his granddaughters, Kayla Nicole Nelson and Kimberly Anne Nelson Guillory. Interment at Saint Joseph Cemetery in Grosse Tete LA.
