WASHINGTON, D.C. (Hub City Radio)- On Wednesday, Senate Majority Leader John Thune went on the floor of U.S. Senate to update the latest on the upcoming Farm Bill. Thune discussed a bipartisan bill attached to the farm bill that address fertilizer prices. Thune also discussed how the bill impacts rural communities. Thune was pleased to announce that the Farm Bill will have E15 fuel to be sold year round across the country. On Thursday, the Farm Bill failed to get out of the Senate Agriculture Committee on a 11-10 party line vote over Democrats’ issues with the SNAP program.
