Auckland legaltech company Nylon (formerly Law Cyborg) is today opening a Seed round seeking to raise $20m.
The raise is to help fund expansion across the United Kingdom and the United States.
Nylon, which uses AI to answer detailed questions on tax and law, now serves close to 2,000 accounting and law firms across New Zealand, Australia and the UK.
The company expanded into Australia and the UK in 2025, with its core tax law offering.
Alongside the raise, Nylon has launched a meeting bot that sits in on client and advisory meetings across accounting and law.
