At media days, coaches from both sides took shots at the other, which just leaves college football fans rolling their eyes. Even without the underlying narrative battle over the SEC and Big Ten's dominance of college football, every edition of the coaches poll must be taken with a grain of salt. They too are weighed down by bias, but it's less obvious than the coaches poll.
