Baum und Pferdgarten co-founders Rikke Baumgarten and Helle Hestehave often go for a glass of wine after work, at a little cafe behind the Royal Danish Theatre. From their favorite perch over the road, they can see the ballet dancers spill out onto the street after rehearsals. Some rush out in full ballet-core: legwarmers and stretchy headbands in situ. This haphazard styling was the inspiration for their spring 2027 collection, presented during golden hour at The King’s Garden. While bringing the collection to life, Baumgarten and Hestehave said they listened to old Nelly Furtado songs.
