UMD volleyball picked to finish seventh in NSIC preseason poll, returns 15 playersThe NSIC preseason poll has picked UMD volleyball to finish seventh in the conference this year. Last season, UMD went 18-10 overall and 11-9 in conference play, finishing eighth. The team returns 15 players from last season and only graduated one senior. She was a second team All-NSIC selection last year and led the Bulldogs in points per set. UMD begins its season at Michigan Tech on Aug. 27 for the Up North Preseason Tournament.
